1. Introduction

Worn. ("we", "our", "us") provides an AI-powered wardrobe and styling service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website at lookworn.com, our iOS application (available on the Apple App Store), our Android application (available on Google Play), or any related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your email address, display name, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
  • Style profile — answers you provide during onboarding (color preferences, body type, lifestyle, archetype) used to generate your style wall.
  • Wardrobe content — photos and metadata of clothing items you upload.
  • Usage data — outfit generations, saved looks, wishlist items, chat history with our AI stylist (Wané).
  • Style feedback — likes, dislikes, and preferences you share with our AI stylist (Wané) to improve future recommendations.
  • Payment information — handled directly by Stripe (web), Apple (iOS), or Google (Android). We never see or store your card details.
  • Device information — browser type, operating system, IP address, device model, and basic analytics.
  • Push notification tokens — if you opt in to push notifications on mobile, we store a device token to deliver notifications. We do not use this token for advertising.
  • Camera and photo library access — on mobile, we request camera or photo library access solely to let you photograph or select clothing items for your wardrobe. Photos are uploaded to our servers for AI analysis and storage. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide personalized outfit recommendations and styling advice.
  • Analyze uploaded clothing photos using AI (Anthropic Claude) to categorize and tag them.
  • Generate your style wall based on your onboarding answers.
  • Process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing notices).
  • Improve our service and develop new features.

4. Third-party services

We share data with the following service providers as necessary to operate Worn.:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI image analysis and outfit generation.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing (web).
  • Apple — in-app purchase processing and subscription management (iOS).
  • Google Play — in-app purchase processing and subscription management (Android).
  • RevenueCat — subscription status management across platforms.
  • SerpAPI — product search across fashion retailers.
  • Vercel — website hosting and deployment.
  • Railway — backend API hosting.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data and wardrobe content for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Children's privacy

Worn. is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Supabase, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice on the Service. Continued use of Worn. after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Tracking and advertising

Worn. does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) or participate in ad networks. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

11. International data transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Worn., you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations. We ensure all transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

12. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: request disclosure of personal information we collect; request deletion of your data; and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@lookworn.com.

13. European residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is: (a) your consent, (b) performance of a contract (providing the Service), and (c) our legitimate interests in improving the Service.
